Dr. Slayden, director of Summit Audiology, has been a licensed and certified audiologist for over twenty years and has worked in private practices and ear, nose, and throat physician offices. In addition, for four years, Mitzie worked with a hearing aid manufacturer as a sales representative and provided on-site training to audiologists on programming and fitting hearing aids in the best possible way for their patients.

Mitzie has received recognition awards from Starkey as best outside representative while working there.  Our office, Summit Audiology, also has received awards of recognition for providing superior service to our patients.  Dr. Slayden is certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the state of Tennessee as an audiologist. 

Mitzie sees patients in Summit's Hermitage and Nashville offices.  Soon she will be seeing patients in our new Hendersonville office.

Jennifer Elder joined Summit Audiology this year after receiving her Tennessee license as a hearing instrument specialist.  Jennifer is also a licensed hearing instrument specialist in California.
